Graduated in Fine Arts from the "National School of Fine Arts" Institute, University of the Republic. 

Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts, Latin America and Caribbean (2001); Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (2004); 1st Prize International Banner Biennial (Tijuana, 2004); 2nd. Santa Cruz International Art Biennial Prize (2010); Justino Zavala Muniz Scholarship - Level III - from the Ministry of Education and Culture (2014)
